From the moment The Hot Damn! hit the scene, it was clear that rock had found its new torchbearers. Formed in 2019 and residing in Buckinghamshire, UK, this all-female powerhouse combines infectious energy, cheeky lyrics, and a vibrant stage presence that has quickly gained the band a reputation for their lively stage presence and upbeat sound.

FORMATION & EARLY YEARS

It all started when Gill Montgomery (vocals/guitar), Laurie Buchanan (guitar), Lzi Hayes (bass) and Josie O'Toole crossed paths in 2019 and decided to fuse their individual talents and diverse musical backgrounds. The result? A sound that's as eclectic as it is electrifying, blending the raw edge of punk, the glam of 80s rock, and the catchy hooks of power pop.

RISE TO PROMINENCE

The band's debut single, "Dance Around," dropped in 2020 and instantly became a sensation with its irresistible hooks and high-energy vibe. The party didn’t stop there – each subsequent single "I Didn't Like You Anyway" and "Live Laugh Love" (a quirky song about those cliché kitchen signs all huns have) cranked up the excitement, propelling them further into the spotlight. Their music videos, bursting with creativity and a wicked sense of humour, have become fan favourites, turning casual listeners into die-hard devotees.
